Test Week - Put your name down here & we'll arrange a chat to plan your test(s)
The aim is to get a benchmark of where you're fitness and strength is and then retest at the end of the summer.
Why? Because exercise is all about progression. You can't do the same thing over and over and expect to get stronger or fitter. The only way exercise works is because you're giving your body a reason to change, ie it's not fit, strong or mobile enough to do the task comfortably.
By giving yourself a benchmark during Test Week you can compare your progress and give you something to aim for, a purpose for each workout.
Now, this is an entirely individual challenge based on your current level
For example Member A could test their Dumbbell Bench Press and see how many reps with 6kg they could do
Member B could test how heavy they can lift for 5 reps
It's the same exercise but adapted for different members with different levels
Another example would be a cardio test
What's the furthest distance you can do on the bike in 10 mins
Or how fast can you row 2km
We have some tests ear marked and will advise you on which one(s) would be suitable for you
The aim is to give everyone a chance to set their own individual benchmark and then work on improving that over the summer
