On Monday I sent out an email about sugar
And the fear mongering certain charlatans are spouting
Yes, too much sugar isn’t a smart thing to eat every single day
But that doesn’t mean you should give it up completely
For instance
Was chatting with my Mum on Wednesday
Told me she was listening to Ray D’arcy
He had seen the RTE prog about sugar on Monday eve
And decided to cut out ALL sugar
Realistically how long is that gonna last?
What’ll happen when he goes out for dinner next?
Will he ask tell the chef not to use any?
Will he never eat chocolate again?
Granted I haven’t seen the prog yet,
Plan on watching it later today
No doubt you’ll get my views on it soon
But from what I’ve heard it was all about the shock factor
More fear mongering
But the solution to eating too much sugar isn’t eating none at all
That just won’t last,
Unless you wanna turn into one of those holier than thou health snobs
And nobody wants to be one of them
They never get invited around for dinner
I’d love to be able to give you a ready made solution
But that goes against everything I believe in
Because you are different,
I can’t just say here’s a diet and expect everyone to be able to follow it
And then blame them for not doing it
Instead I say here’s a human being with various things going on in their life
Now how can I help them create a way of eating to suit them
If that sounds like something you want

P.S. Early registration has opened for the seminar
A Carb Lover’s Guide To A Better Body
I’ll give those on the early notification list a few hours and then open it up to everyone
