When Binge Eating Works

It’s the day of the photoshoot

Over 12 weeks of gruelling workouts

Some of the toughest I’ve ever done

Suffered through some injuries

As well as stress, low energy

And dedicating 15+ hours a week to training

No I didn’t train that much but with travel and prep time

It took 3 hours out of my day

Was it worth it?

Yep, even before the shoot I know it’s been worth it

Anyway, Binge Eating

I’ll be doing lots of it today and tomorrow

And it will benefit me

How?

Because my body has been in a state of depletion for the last few weeks

Especially this week,

Water depletion and carb depletion has been horrendous

But now my body is primed to recover from that

And that means I’ll put on some extra muscle weight due to the extra cals

All because I’ve been lifting weights and provided I train tomorrow

When you see the pics you might wonder how much cardio I did

Very little

No running, no cycling, no swimming

None of the standard stuff you might expect

I went for the odd walk but nothing planned

My point here is the following

When you go very low calorie,

Which most people do even if it’s not on purpose

And don’t lift weights

All you are doing is priming your body to store fat as soon as you increase food again

That’s why weight lifting, the SF way

Is vital to getting lasting results

You’ll protect your body

And force your muscles to burn more of the food you eat

Which means you don’t need to go very low calorie

Can eat more and not restrict

And be fit and strong while looking great naked

Speaking of naked

I’m off to get oiled up (see no evil monkey face emoji)

Can’t offer you my results though

But I can offer you a place at SF Fitness
