You’ve been on a holiday right?
Had a great time,
soaking up the sun,
lying on the beach,
sipping cocktails watching the sun going down over the sea
But what happened when you got back?
Major downer right?
You’re on such a high that you get this big low when you come back
Well I’m experiencing something similar
The last 12 weeks had been geared towards one day
Friday, photoshoot day
But now that’s all over
I’m in a major lull

No doubt it happens to you too
Maybe you’ve been working hard to stay fit
Or eating well
And then
BANG
You hit a low
Skip your exercise
have a ‘bad’ day of eating
Go on the piss at the weekend
Feel groggy for a few days
Whatever it is
Happens to us all
But when this happens
You have three main options
1. Be hard on yourself,
Beat yourself up as to how you should be stronger,
tell yourself you should be able to get right back on track
2. Give up on everything
Throw it all out the window
Waste your time looking at what other people are doing on social mejia
Watch more TV
Feel sorry for yourself
Anything but face your thoughts <–scary
Or
3. Switch into a low gear
potter along getting some stuff done
May not seem like big important stuff
But it’s still progress
And that my friend is much more important
Because you’ll feel better soon
And then
BANG
All of a sudden you’re motoring along again
I actually planned for feeling like this
I knew it was gonna come
Had to
So while I’m feeling a bit low
I’m not making myself worse by being too hard on myself
And I’m still training, just not as much as I have been
Eating ok-ish,
Mind you I still haven’t cooked a meal for myself since Wednesday
‘cept for my chocolate porridge this morning
The point is this
How can you stay consistent?
The answer?
I’ll tell you what I do tomorrow
And what I use to keep the SF members consistent
You can become one here btw…
