I didn’t know it
But apparently we’ve the best damn fitness programme in the world here at SF
That is according to one person
Who, last week, asked us to help them get in shape for a wedding
On New Year’s eve
Yep ^^^
Some people really are that dumb
Common sense tells you it can’t work
Yet still, some people are so blase about fitness and their body
They think they can magic up a fat burning miracle in mere days
I’ve a big problem with trying to get in shape just for an event
Versus doing it for yourself
When you do things for yourself you will have more motivation
There’s a lot more benefits than just looking good for one day
Case in point, my photoshoot
That ‘look’ is a direct result of me getting stronger than I ever have
Feeling ridiculously fit
And having my confidence soar
If I was just focused on how I looked I wouldn’t have had all that
My motivation would have been way down because I didn’t look like that till the event
The event is one moment. And just focusing on that means you only get to feel good
When that moment arrives
But for the lead up to it, you won’t.
Which means you will lose motivation
You will feel like it’s too hard
That you’re not making any progress
And ultimately fall back into your old ways
